2017: Sting performed at Allianx Parque in Sao Paulo, Brazil. More

2014: Sting and Trudie attended the premiere of 'Penny Dreadful' in New York.

2010: Sting performed his first concert in Colombia at at the Corferias in Bogota as part of the Buchanan's Forever 'Learning for Life' programme. More

2009: Sting was in London to attend the press night for the new production of 'Waiting for Godot' featuring Sir Sir Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart at the Theatre Royal in Haymarket.

2008: New York mayor, Michael R. Bloomberg joined Sting, Andy Summers and Stewart Copeland of The Police to announce that the band's final concert will be in New York City.

2005: Sting performed at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, USA. More

2004: Returning to his home town of Newcastle, Sting visited Gateshead Quays and site of Sage Theatre and in the afternoon held a workshop for students at Newcastle College.

2002: Sting was at the Festival Hall in London to catch Cornelius's set and then joined Christian McBride and his band on stage at the Pizza Express Jazz Club in London where he performed 'My Funny Valentine'.

2001: Sting performed at the Civic Centre in Roanoke, USA. More

2000: Sting performed at the Piazzo in Montesarchio, Italy. More

1979: The Police performed at Lake Alice Field at the University of Florida in Gainesville, USA.

1978: The Police left for Germany where they spent three weeks with Eberhard Schoener's Laser Theatre.

1977: The Police performed at the Polytechnic in Newcastle, England.
